Military Hospital Revitalization MASTER PLAN
MASTER PLAN CONCEPT
The military hospital in Pula, also known as the Naval Hospital, was built in 1861 for the needs of the Austro-Hungarian navy. The aim of the project was to revital-ization of the naval hospital and the addition of new facilities that enrich the program and establish a new hub in the city. The entire concept of the arrangement aims toimproving connections with the surrounding area and arranging high-quality public space. The path thata new student center is passing through, which consists of three student dormitoriesfaculties, institutes and start-ups, thus connecting sports facilities in the southwest, the Uljanik shipyard and the city center. We are the very concept for the entire areaadopted from the style of the Mediterranean way of life, which represents the interweaving of pathsand atria in congested cities. In the naval hospital, the concept of atriums is expressed with multi-storey open spacesri. These openings represent an important part of the concept, as the other spacesthey transmit a lot of light, which is very important for the successful implementation of learning activities -nesses. As we can see in the lower right picture, the current corridors are very dark, I also obtained brighter spaces with larger openings where necessary. Hkra-I led paths across the open spaces that create new ambiences in the room. In the current park, I set up two larger lecture halls with which we gainadditional places for students. There is also a small outdoor amphitheater in front of the lecture halls, which in warmer times enables lectures in the fresh air under a canopy.jamidreves The program of the new faculty itself represents 3 different technically oriented onesfaculties that coexist with a start-up and a student dormitory. In college alone, they areonly lecture halls and their associated programs. There are also two smaller ones in the facilitycafeterias that contribute to the healthy life of students. They are on every floormulti-purpose pavilions available to both students and faculty staff. Raised walkways on the first floor of the faculty help to hi-to the third movement from the north wing to the south wing, and above the lecture halls the creationa green space for reading or relaxing. At the same time, the path connects the faculty with buildings in the west.
